Ruth Dehne contributed exceptional service to the Metro East Pachyderm Club beginning with our Charter date of June 14, 2009. She voluntarily established and has maintained our website www.metroeastpachy.org. Under Ruth’s control our website has become the focal point for our membership to learn more about our club and to stay abreast of all activities. Moreover, our members have a place to interact in a forum venue whereby they can expound their particular interests and learn from reactions of others. Our site contains pictures of our club activities as well as other activities in the area of interest. With multiple links to other areas of interest our membership can stay aware of many organizations and their materials. Thanks to Ruth Dehne our local Pachyderm Club can be totally interactive with many organizations and individuals in the Republican Party. Because of the vast importance in today’s world of quick access to information and communications Ruth’s contribution to our Club has been tremendous. Her singular efforts and diligence have truly been meritorious. Ruth Dehne is much deserving of the Pachyderm Meritorious Award and I highly recommend her for it.

This award is the first ever given by the Metro East Pachyderm Club and it is very fitting that it was presented to Ruth Dehne, a charter member of the Club. Our website is arguably the most valuable tool in getting new members for the club, and for keeping members informed.
