Written by Administrator
Wednesday, 10 March 2010 14:12
There will be a Precinct Committeeman Orientation and Training Program on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 9:00am to 11:30am at Fischer’s Restaurant in Belleville at 18th and West Main St. We would like to have all Precinct Committeemen including seasoned veterans attend. We will cover the duties of Precinct Committeemen as well as sharing methods and procedures for getting the job done without becoming overwhelmed with the tasks. When the discussion opens we hope the seasoned veterans will share some of their successes and lessons learned. We will have several handouts that you will find useful in administering a precinct and the vote at the polls.
This Orientation/Training is open to all Republicans who might be considering becoming a Precinct Committeeman, or who would just like to know what they should expect from their Committeeman and how they can help him or her. Please feel free to participate without making a firm commitment. We need you and your support.
Following the Training we hope you can stay and have lunch with us. While lunch is not provided, good company and rewarding conversation are provided at no cost.
Please reply if you can attend so we can prepare proper and adequate space.

Written by Richard Davis
Monday, 08 March 2010 18:06
On Monday March 8th at 1:45 p.m. Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Bill Brady and Republican Lt Governor Candidate Jason Plummer visited with Metro East Republicans at Downtown St Louis Airport (Parks). They were on the ground about 45 minutes to say "Thank You" for the help of voters in Monroe, Madison and St Clair Counties. Mr Brady noted how important these three counties are in the economy of Illinois and asked that we continue to help him and Mr Plummer get into Springfield and start cleaning up our state government. Their stop in the Metro East was one of eight stops around Illinois to touch base with voters. All three counties were represented at the rally.
